7mm Diving Hood

The Custom Master 7 mm diving hood is made from two-layer Yamamoto neoprene — 7 mm outside and 4 mm inside. Yamamoto is one of the most respected Japanese manufacturers of premium neoprene: the material has a closed-cell structure that doesn’t absorb water, stays elastic in cold environments, and holds its shape over regular use.

The two-layer 7+4 mm construction gives a total insulation thickness of 11 mm in the most critical zones — forehead, crown, back of the head — while keeping flexibility around the ears and jaw. The hood suits dives in water from 0°C to +8°C and is an effective solution for cold-water and technical diving.

The anatomical cut gives a tight fit with no extra folds and guarantees no leaks along the mask seal. Compatible with both dry and wet suits. Made to individual measurements.
